This Privacy Policy explains how Fieldproxy Inc (“Fieldproxy”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use the Service. Fieldproxy is a business-to-business field service management and CRM platform. We process most personal data on behalf of our business customers (each, a “Customer”) who deploy the Service to their own employees, contractors, and end customers. In that context, the Customer is the data controller and Fieldproxy acts as a data processor.

4. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you or your employer; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service; your consent (for example, for certain sensor permissions on your device); and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
- With your employer (the Customer). Data you create or that is captured about your work in the Service is visible to administrators of the Customer account that issued your login.
- Service providers (sub-processors). We share information with vendors who help us run the Service, including cloud hosting, database, push notification (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging), background location SDK (Transistorsoft BackgroundGeolocation), error reporting, analytics, and email delivery providers. These providers are contractually bound to protect the information and use it only to provide services to us.
- Integrations you enable. If you or your administrator connects a third-party integration (for example QuickBooks Online or a calendar or email provider), we exchange data with that integration as needed to make it work, under the integration provider's own terms and privacy policy.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers. If Fieldproxy is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
- SMS / mobile opt-in data. Mobile phone numbers, opt-in consent, and any associated identifiers collected for the purpose of sending SMS notifications through the Fieldproxy SMS program are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information collected as part of the SMS opt-in process, including the consent record itself, is not shared with any third parties. This data is used only to deliver the SMS notifications described in our SMS Policy and to comply with carrier and regulatory requirements.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your employer maintains an active Fieldproxy account, and for a limited period afterwards as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. On termination, Customer data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period in line with our agreement with the Customer. You can ask your administrator to delete specific records at any time.
7. Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive secrets, access controls and audit logs, and isolation of Customer data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can also contact us directly using the details below and we will route the request appropriately.
10. Permissions you can revoke at any time
You can revoke camera, microphone, location, notifications, and storage permissions at any time from your device settings. Note that disabling certain permissions (for example location while on shift) will prevent the corresponding features of the app from working.
11. Children
The Service is intended for use by businesses and their workforce. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

To request deletion of an account that you control directly, or to request deletion of data associated with you, email support@fieldproxy.com from the email address on the account. We will process verified requests within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention requirements.
