1. Program name and operator

The SMS program is called Fieldproxy Notifications. It is operated by Fieldproxy Private Limited (“Fieldproxy”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Program description

The Fieldproxy Notifications program sends transactional and account notifications to users of the Fieldproxy SaaS platform. Message categories include:

  • Two-factor authentication codes , one-time passcodes to verify your identity when signing in.
  • Account and billing notifications , such as trial expiration reminders and payment reminders.
  • Operational alerts, sent to dispatchers when a customer requests a job or a technician completes a job.
  • Job assignment and schedule-change notifications , sent to field technicians to inform them of new assignments or changes to their schedule.
  • Occasional product update announcements , infrequent messages about new features or important platform changes.

3. How users opt in

Opt-in to receive SMS notifications happens during account creation on the Fieldproxy web app or during first login on the Fieldproxy mobile app. Users are presented with a consent checkbox and the following disclosure language:

“I agree to receive SMS notifications from Fieldproxy, including account alerts, two-factor authentication codes, job assignment updates, billing reminders, and occasional product announcements. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELPfor help.”
  • The consent checkbox is unchecked by default.
  • Account signup will not complete without the checkbox being explicitly checked.
  • When a user opts in, we store the consent record, the user's IP address, and a timestamp.

See an example of the consent UI at /sms-opt-in-example.
