Joblogic Alternative: Compare on Customization
Joblogic is a strong product, so compare it on the right axis
Joblogic charges £45 per user per month billed annually in the UK, and publishes its own worked example of a five-user team at £225 a month. In the US its tiers run from 50 dollars per user per month billed annually up to 70 dollars on the Premium plan billed monthly. There is a free trial and no free version. That pricing is transparent, which is rarer in UK field service software than it should be.
It is also well regarded, with 4.5 on Trustpilot across 361 reviews and 4.1 on Software Advice. Any comparison that opens by implying it is weak software is not worth reading, and you would find out otherwise within one demo.
What Joblogic is actually built for
Their own positioning is the clearest guide. Comparing themselves to Tradify they say Tradify is priced for sole traders, and that Joblogic costs more because it includes contract management, planned preventative maintenance, assets and stock. That is the shape of the product: contract-led, compliance-aware, maintenance-heavy field service, aimed at UK commercial service businesses rather than small domestic trades.
If your revenue comes from service contracts, PPM schedules, asset registers and SLA compliance, that focus is a genuine advantage and it should weigh heavily.
Be careful with the AI comparison, because Joblogic is investing in it
This is where most competitor content gets Joblogic wrong, so it is worth being accurate. Joblogic is not sitting out the AI shift. They publish a comparison page arguing for AI built in rather than agents bolted on, they describe building toward an agentic operating system that reads contract, compliance and SLA tier as live rules, and they ship a Helpdesk AI Agent that takes service calls and creates work orders from them, alongside invoice automation and an AI summariser. Trade press reported further investment to accelerate that roadmap in September 2025.
So if you are evaluating on whether a vendor has AI, both will pass. The useful questions are narrower: what can the AI change, how quickly can you change it, and what happens when your process does not match the model the software expects.
The real difference: how you change the software
Joblogic's capability arrives as modules and configuration: contract management, PPM, assets, stock, compliance. Deep and proven, and bounded by what those modules model.
Fieldproxy's difference is that you describe the workflow change you want in plain English and the platform builds it. Think of it as Lovable for field service management: the job stages you actually use, the fields your team fills in, the checks required before a job closes, the way your quotes are structured. Not chosen from a module set, built to match how you already work.
That is the axis to test on both demos. Ask each vendor to make the same change to a workflow in front of you, and time it.
Time to live: weeks against days
Joblogic's own answer on setup is that most teams are operational within a few weeks, depending on size and the level of configuration required, and at least one published review notes that a more guided setup would help anyone coming in fresh. That is a normal and honest position for a configurable platform.
Fieldproxy goes live in days. For a mid-sized contractor that is the difference between seeing value this month and next quarter, and it lowers the cost of being wrong.
Scope: UK contract-led against multi-vertical and global
Joblogic is a UK market leader in a specific shape of field service. If you run mixed work, operate outside the UK, or expect to add verticals, that focus becomes a constraint rather than a strength. Fieldproxy is multi-vertical and used globally, so growing sideways does not mean running two systems or replacing the one you just implemented.

A note on the figures. Vendor pricing and packaging change, and this was compiled from Joblogic's own published pages and independent review sites rather than from a quote. Confirm current numbers with them directly.
When Joblogic is the better choice, honestly
If your business is UK commercial service work built on contracts, PPM schedules, asset registers and compliance obligations, Joblogic models that world directly and has years of customers doing exactly it. Transparent per-user pricing and a free trial make it easy to evaluate on your own terms. That is a strong position and you should take it seriously.
Look at alternatives when your processes do not fit a module set and you need to change the software rather than configure it, when a few weeks to live is too long, or when you are running multiple verticals or operating outside the UK.
