Jobber and AI assistants

How do I connect Jobber to ChatGPT or Claude?

Jobber has an official connector for ChatGPT and Claude, launched in September 2026 and available on its Core, Connect, Grow and Plus plans: add it from the assistant's connector directory and sign in to Jobber. It can look up your requests, quotes, clients, properties, jobs and invoices and create requests, clients and properties, but it cannot create or edit jobs, quotes or invoices or change the schedule. If you want the assistant to run dispatch and change the software itself, Fieldproxy is an AI-native field service platform whose MCP server does both, with a confirm step before anything is saved.

How to connect

How to connect Jobber to ChatGPT or Claude

Claude: Jobber is listed in Claude's connector directory, made by Jobber. Add it, sign in with your Jobber account, and ask Claude about your clients, quotes, jobs and invoices.

ChatGPT: Jobber lists a ChatGPT app in its own app marketplace. Connect it from ChatGPT and sign in with your Jobber account.

Jobber's help center says the connector works on all Core, Connect, Grow and Plus plans, and that the free plans of both assistants work. Its help article has the current step by step instructions.

Developers can also build on Jobber's public GraphQL API, which uses OAuth 2.0, but for most teams the official connector is the simpler route.

When it is not enough

When teams want the assistant to do more

A connector that answers questions and captures new requests is a good start. The next requests from a growing team are different: move Mike's jobs to whoever is closest, chase every big quote that has had no follow-up, add a warranty field to every job and alert me before one expires. Those need the assistant to schedule, message and change the software.

That is what Fieldproxy's MCP server is for. ChatGPT and Claude can read your data, propose changes to jobs, schedules and records that are saved only after a person confirms, draft messages, and, with the build permission, add fields, screens and automations in a sandbox that goes live when you approve. Teams that switch move their Jobber data into Fieldproxy; we do not run alongside Jobber or sync with it.
