Short answer
Yes, when they are connected to your field service data. Through Fieldproxy's MCP server, Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot can list a job's files, look at the photos themselves (up to 10 at a time) and read attached PDFs, Word, Excel, CSV and email files. That makes before and after comparisons and sign-off checks a question instead of a job-by-job click-through.
What to ask
- "Show me the before and after photos on job 4471."
- "Does the Site 14 photo show the new filter fitted?"
- "Which of today's completed jobs have no after photo?"
- "What does the attached service report say about the compressor?"
How it works
The assistant calls list_record_files to find a job's attachments, view_images to see the photos, and read_file for documents. It sees only the records the signed-in user can see.
Anything that changes data or sends a message is shown to you first and happens only after you confirm; writes can be undone, and every call is logged.
Where a person still decides
The AI can describe what a photo shows and flag what looks missing. Whether the work passes, and what to tell the customer, stays with your team.
