Multi-language

Everyone works in their own language.

Your office, technicians, subcontractors and managers each pick the language they read best, on the web and in the mobile app. 27 languages, including right-to-left Arabic, on the same jobs and the same data.

27 languages, live now

Pick a language, and the whole app follows.

Sign-in, menus, buttons, dialogs, error messages, date pickers and month and day names all come translated. Each person chooses theirs, and it applies on every screen they open.

Each person chooses their own

On the web from the account menu or Settings, Profile, Language. In the mobile app from Settings, Preferences, Language. Nobody else's screen changes.

A default for each app

Set the language an app opens in for people who have not chosen one, so a crew's technician app can start in Spanish while the office app starts in English.

Web and mobile, the same choice

The office dashboard and the technician app on Android and iOS both read the language, so nobody is half in one language and half in another.

Your own screens too

Your stages, fields and buttons, in your team's words.

Your field service system is built around your workflow, so it has your own wording: your job stages, checklist questions and button labels. We translate those as well, so nothing on screen is left in English.

Your wording, translated

Labels, titles, hints, buttons, empty-list messages, confirmations and pop-up messages on your own screens are shown in each person's language.

Statuses and options read naturally

A status chip or a dropdown option shows translated, while the value saved on the record stays the same for everyone.

Names and details stay put

Customer names, addresses, notes and anything your team typed are shown as they were entered, never machine-changed behind your back.

Change a word any time

If your crews call it something else, tell us and the translation changes. It is part of your system, not a fixed language pack.

Right-to-left, done properly

Arabic that reads right to left, not a mirror of English.

Choose Arabic and the whole layout turns around: text, spacing and alignment run from the right, and the sidebar and drawers open from the right.

The whole layout flips

Left and right become start and end everywhere, so screens built for English read correctly in Arabic without a second version.

What should not flip, does not

Charts, maps, signature pads, photo markup and timelines keep reading left to right, the way people expect them to.

Clear numbers

Job numbers, amounts and quantities keep Western digits (0 to 9), so a price or a part number reads the same in every language.

One set of data

Different languages, the same jobs and the same numbers.

Language only changes how the screen reads. The data underneath is shared, so a multilingual team is still one team.

Reports do not split by language

A job closed by a technician in Spanish counts in the same report as one closed in English, because the saved status is the same.

Filters and automations keep working

Rules that fire on a status, a stage or a value see the same value whatever language the person who set it was reading.

Customer messages go out as written

Emails and texts to customers are sent in the wording you set for them, not in whichever language the person who triggered them happens to use.

Translate a note when you need to

Where your team writes in more than one language, an AI translate button can turn a technician's note into the office's language on the record.

Questions

Straight answers.

Which languages does Fieldproxy support?

27: English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian Bokmål, Swedish, Finnish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Marathi, Malay, Indonesian, Filipino, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan and Hong Kong), Japanese and Korean.

Can different people use different languages at the same time?

Yes. Each person chooses their own language, on the web from the account menu or Settings, Profile, Language, and in the mobile app from Settings, Preferences, Language. A dispatcher in English and a technician in Spanish work on the same job at the same time.

Does it translate our own custom screens and fields?

Yes. The platform's own text comes translated, and the wording on your own screens, such as job stages, field labels, buttons and messages, is translated as part of setting up your system. You can change any translation later by asking.

Does Arabic work right to left?

Yes. In Arabic the whole layout mirrors: text and spacing run from the right and the sidebar and drawers open from the right. Charts, maps, signature pads, photo markup and timelines keep reading left to right, and numbers keep Western digits.

Will reports and automations break if people use different languages?

No. Language only changes how a screen reads. The value saved on a record, such as a status, is the same whatever language it was set in, so reports, filters and automations treat every job the same way.

Does it work in the technician mobile app?

Yes. The Android and iOS technician app and the office web dashboard both follow each person's language choice.

Tell us which languages your team speaks. We set it up around them.

Get your own custom field service management within a day, with every screen in the languages your office, crews and subcontractors read best.
