Handwritten Notes → Typed Report

Photograph the handwritten job sheet, timesheet, or field worksheet — any handwriting, any language — and get a faithful typed transcription plus a clean professional report.

— optional; puts your company name, logo, and local pricing on the result

How it works

1

Photograph the paperwork — job sheets, timesheets, worksheets. Up to 4 pages.

2

The AI transcribes faithfully — any language — and flags what's truly illegible.

3

Get the typed transcription, structured data table, and a filed report.

You just trialed the ai_extract + ai_translate widget

One run here. Every job, inside Fieldproxy.

Here, you rescued one page. Inside Fieldproxy, the paper mostly disappears — and what remains files itself.

  1. 1

Techs work digital forms on their phone — the job sheet is born typed, no transcription needed.

  2. 2

Paper that still shows up (subcontractors, old habits) gets photographed into the job — ai_extract files it.

  3. 3

Hours land on timesheets, materials hit inventory, readings hit the asset record — from either path.

  4. 4

Multilingual crews work in their language; the office reads everything in English.

  5. 5

Nothing lives in a truck cab binder anymore — it's all on the job record, searchable.

ai_extract + ai_translate

See it embedded in your own workflow.

This page runs the widget once, on what you typed. The product runs it on every job, wired to your customers, price book, and techs — the result files itself and the next step kicks off automatically.

Frequently asked questions

How bad can the handwriting be?

Real field handwriting is the point. It reads what's legible and marks the rest [illegible] with a review list — it will never guess at a number, because a wrong quantity is worse than a gap.

What languages work?

Most written languages — Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Hindi, Chinese. You get the original-language transcription and the English translation, with part names kept as written.

Is this the same AI as in Fieldproxy?

Same capability — though inside Fieldproxy most teams skip the paper entirely: techs fill digital forms or talk to the app, and the same extraction runs on whatever paper still shows up.
